Hi Hi

My older sister was my hero. Anything she did, I wanted to do. She played softball, I did tee-ball. She played basketball, I played basketball. She wrote novels, I wrote novels. One day, I looked at the template page on my Microsoft Word and noticed a screenplay feature. There are people who write TV shows and movies? I know that sounds really stupid now because there is obviously no way that any of these incredible shows and films can be created without a script. But when I saw that template I felt a whole new world open up to me. I would create spec scripts before knowing that is what they were called. By the age of 13, I had created my first TV series that I would produce, write, direct, and star in for my favorite audience on Earth: my family. They were the first people to tell me if something worked, didn't, or was flat out misleading. This helped me learn how to create a credible voice for my audience because my family would be the first one to say if I was "trying to pull a fast one". After getting my Bachelor's of Arts with Honors at Fairleigh Dickinson University Florham Campus, I have been sending my scripts to festivals, pitch contests, anywhere that is available for it to be seen.
